For some of us photography is a hobby, for others - a way of life. If you cannot take your eyes of a good photograph, want to know more or simply share your passion with others like yourself – don’t hesitate!
Our weekly meetings happen in ‘Park Inn’ hotel (Smithfield Village, Dublin 7) every Friday @8pm. Our meetings are always very informal and very cheerful. Sometimes we even decide to meet up at one of our members’ house…

2008-03-05 21:52 A Lithuanian bouquet for the manager of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County, Owen Keegan
The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, Kazimiera Prunskiene will launch St. Casimir’s Fair and present the manager of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County, Owen Keegan with a bouquet of verbos – traditional palms made of colourful dried flowers and herbs – the symbol of St. Casimir’s Fair.
The launch will happen on Saturday the 8th March @2pm.
Fotomanai are invited to taste Lithuanian delicacies and capture the launch of the fair.

'Kaziuko muge' - the Lithuanian St. Patrick's Day - is coming to Ireland on the 8th & 9th March, 2008. Over the years, this celebration of the life of St. Casimir - the patron saint of Lithuania - has become much more than just an observance of a holy day.
In Dun Laoghaire People’s park this Saturday, the fair visitors will be entertained with traditional folk music, stories about Baltic culture and information on tourism in Lithuania. In addition, everyone will be able to indulge themselves in Lithuanian delicacies, such as sweets, meats, pastries, authentic home made kvass and much more…

Lithuanian Days in Ireland 2007 were launched on the 8th October 2007 by the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Gediminas Kirkilas and Lord Mayor of Dublin City, Councillor Paddy Burke.
The launch took place in Dublin City Hall where many people from Ireland and Lithuania gathered to celebrate the friendship of the two countries.

Fotomanai are happy to launch their website www.fotomanai.lt with a new and inspiring design, the highest quality and many functions that the old website did not have.
The new website went up and running on Saturday, the 16th June ’07. Surprisingly, in just two days, a lot of new members have registered; and the number of visitors to the site have been growing in hours!

Lithuanian photography group Fotomanai.lt has displayed its photography exhibition in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vilnius, Lithuania on the 13th of March 2007. The exhibition “Our Life in Ireland” dedicated to celebrate the Day of the Re-establishment of the Independence of the State of Lithuania was launched by the Minister for Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekunas.

The organisers of St. Patrick’s Festival booked the Lithuanian photography group Fotomanai to take photos of this year’s Festival, including the Parade and other events, such as Denny Big Day Out, Denny Treasure Hunt, IrishJobs.ie Céílí Mór, Lá ‘le Gaelige and the Luminarium at Docklands.
The club was issued with press passes to all events and in return supplied the Festival with photographs. The group was briefed as to what kind of photographs from what events were needed for St. Patrick’s Festival website, posters, leaflets and press.
